War has raged since 2015, forcing the people of Yemen into the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
Continuing conflict, airstrikes and restrictions on imports have left almost every second person in Yemen at risk of starvation, including more than one million pregnant and breastfeeding women.
One child dies every ten minutes in Yemen from preventable diseases.
The warring parties stand accused of war crimes, including killing civilians and destroying essential food and water sources.
Australia is supplying military equipment to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, two of the major combatants in the war. These arms could be fuelling the war in Yemen.
We can and must do more to save lives in Yemen.
